Charity Digital and TechSoup have partnered with Benevity, the leader in powering corporate giving, to provide access to donations from companies and their employees for nonprofits and charities worldwide. Many corporations encourage their employees to give money and volunteer time to nonprofits in their communities and will match and send those contributions through the Benevity system.
Benevity’s platform, which includes a global database of more than 2 million registered nonprofits and charities worldwide, encourages open choice for employees in these corporate giving programs. Benevity currently supports giving for clients in over 200 countries, in 15 languages and 7 currencies.
A charity or nonprofit that has been nominated for corporate giving -and- completed their profile with Benevity could receive the following type of support:
- grant
- donation in local currency
- volunteer hours
